Last updated: September 2026. CalBharat ("we", "the site") is operated independently by Paturi, based in Telangana, India. This policy explains what information is collected when you use CalBharat and how it is handled.

1. Calculator inputs never leave your browser

The numbers you type into any calculator, income, EMI amount, salary, investment values, are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are never sent to, stored on, or logged by our servers.

2. What we store locally on your device

Language preference, which of the 11 supported languages you selected, so you don't have to reselect it on your next visit.

Translation files & rate data, cached in your browser's localStorage for up to 48 hours to make the site load faster. This is public content (translations, interest rates), not personal data.

This data lives only in your own browser. We have no access to it, and clearing your browser data removes it completely.

3. Third-party services we use

Live rate APIs, gold price, currency exchange rates, and the RBI repo rate are fetched through our own server (so third-party providers never see your IP or browser directly). No personal data is included in these requests.

Google AdSense, this site may display ads to keep it free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Analytics, if enabled, we may use aggregate, anonymized analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand which calculators are most used. This does not include the financial figures you enter.

4. No accounts, no personal profiles

CalBharat does not require sign-up or login. We do not build user profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we don't collect any in the first place.

5. Admin panel

A password-protected admin page is used solely to update publicly displayed default rates (interest rates, gold price, etc.). It does not have access to any visitor's calculator inputs, since those are never transmitted to us.

6. Children's privacy

CalBharat is a general finance tool not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
